I don’t particularly like quarrelling about things that can’t be changed

I don’t particularly like being in opposition about plans changing

I don’t particularly like being in conflict when things don’t go my way

Does it ever strike you as odd...?

Does it ever strike you as odd that there are people who support you #100…when you give your product or services to them? 

Does it ever strike you odd that when you ask those same people to do something for you that only costs time, they won’t?

Does it ever strike you odd that when they need, you are there but when you need they aren't?

Does it ever strike you odd that when they say they will be there, they aren't but expect you to be there for them and early?

Does it ever strike you odd that people will offer just for the sake of offering, but when you accept they lessen the offer?

Does it ever strike you odd that when you treat them as they have treated you…they are upset by your actions?

Does it ever strike you odd that those people tend to make one feel as though “the first time I say no, it’s like I never said yes”?

Well then, this this people like you have but one question to people like those. Does it ever strike you odd that I get tired of being the odd one out?

Get people like that out of your life! Run fast and far! Leaches of life will suck the life out of you! Once you see that people are only in a relationship with you (of any kind) to use you…get out! I for one know that I was not placed on this earth to be the footstool for anyone! Once this is learned and embraced, better and wiser choices can be made

You have turned out to be quite the artist! I love the layers, hues, use of manipulation! The contrasts are remarkable! The way you place and use the mediums is astonishing! The structure and use of color…Oh, how it brings it all to life! The symmetry and lines used, creating such truth to the work! You are absolutely inconceivable! What a gift you have been given. I have never met an artist of your caliber. 

I can only imagine the greatness that is in you, should you apply this endowment to not being a con…artist

Your check is in the mail

For the "your check is in the mail" kind of people, like people...addresses change. It is unfortunate that for some things never do and never will. Changing your position and state of mind when people owe you is essential to living at peace. If you can't afford to lose it, don't loan it. For the borrower, if you know you won't be able to pay it back, simply ask to have it. In doing this, relationships are saved because honesty existed and the proper expectation was set. We can't continue to do wrong and expect great things to return us. I have said it before and will again, if you are "the check is in the mail" person in my life...I have written that off. There is no need in pretending. We are still cool, I don't hold things like that against people. Moving forward. .. I just know

This world of ours...?

The level of disrespect among people these days is intolerable! None of us are perfect and we all have done things that we may not be extremely proud of…I get that. What I don’t get is how people turn into monsters!

We live in a world where people just approach others on the streets and attack them.

We live in a world where people just beat children.

We live in a world where people just beat up the elder

We live in a world where our children cuss in front of our elders.

We live in a world where people no longer get up for our elders to be seated.

We live in a world where people take advantage of others because they can.

We live in a world where people just hate.

We live in a world where people just disrespect you because they are carrying a weapon.

We live in a world where people have weapons to terrorize not defend themselves.

We live in a world where people just don’t care!

We live in a world where we cannot truly live….

I dreamed that I was invited to speak at a seminar on marriage and how we have lasted. Lets face it, today...21 years is a long time to be with someone, at our age! We haven't traveled without bumps, stumbling blocks, and  issues #TrustThat! We have also had a lot of celebrating, can testify, and may triumphs!
I spoke on 3 topics:
1) Never go to bed angry
2) Pick and choose your battles
3) Don't deny your partner the "pleasures of you"
Who knows what I may have in store for this life? I do know with certainty, those 3 points...are just the beginning!

Alone

Being alone isn't all so bad. We come into the world alone and will leave that same way. Being alone isn't a bad place to be. Solitude is where you can find out things about you! That is the time that you learn to focus on your actions and reactions. That is the only time that you can focus on your relationship with your creator without interruption. Being alone isn't all so bad....
When you are in a relationship and alone, that is lonely. We need to learn and understand the difference.

Hear to Listen

If you ask GOD for answers then find them using the devil's minions and tools, you did it wrong.
Be patient! GOD's timing is perfect and always on time! You won't hear GOD if you aren't paying attention. HE may be teaching you to how focus and  the patience that you asked for last week! You may not be ready for the real, raw, and uncut truth that you find! GOD may be protecting you, as HE does every moment of our lives!
Ask GOD then wait!

2nd Place...aint all that bad
I am not the firs my man greets
He starts each day with another
Nor does he come to me first when there is a struggle
Dilemmas..? I get that second too
He comes to me with the small stuff, most of the time
Now that I understand my position, that is totally fine!
I don't get the initial thank yous
The sharing of the most intimate thoughts?!?!? Nope
The sharing of the dark times, he doesn't run to me
I get that "memo" eventually
I know that I will never be first, again that is fine with me
